FARMERS AWARENESS SESSION ON PROFITABLE RICE PRODUCTION AT NAROWAL

An awareness session was organized by KMBL for farmers of Narowal, Punjab where production of rice crop is highly popular among many farmers. The seminar of “Profitable Rice Crop Production” was delivered by Dr. Muhammad Sabar, Director Rice Research Institute, Kala Shah Kaku.

KHUSHHALI MICROFINANCE BANK PLANTS 6,000 TREES IN CHANGA MANGA TO HELP AFFORESTATION

Staying true to KMBL values of preserving the natural environment, Khushhali Microfinance Bank has taken the initiative of the planting and maintaining 6,000 plants at Changa Manga, near Lahore. This initiative has been taken in partnership with the Punjab Forest department.

KHUSHHALI BANK HELPS SET UP CHILDREN CAMPING SITE NEAR TRAIL 5, MARGALLA HILLS

Khushhali Microfinance Bank (KMBL) helped establish a camping site for children near trail 5, Margalla Hills in Islamabad. The inauguration of the event was successfully carried out in collaboration with Islamabad Wild life Management Board (IWMB). The aim is to establish a recreational place for the young adventurers for easy access to forestry, hiking trails and other sports activities.

KHUSHHALI MICROFINANCE BANK CELEBRATES INTERNATIONAL DAY OF FORESTS WITH THE PLEDGE TO PLANT 10,000 TREES

In the lead-up to the International Day of Forests on March 21, Khushhali Microfinance Bank (KMBL) initiates planting of 10,000 trees to raise awareness on the importance of indigenous trees for local ecosystems.

Khushhali Microfinance Bank marked this day in collaboration with Islamabad Wild Life Board (IWLB) on conservation of Wild Forests. Khushhalibank engages in environment conservation activities as its Corporate Social Responsibility to increase awareness on the issue and offer support to Government of Pakistan’s vision of making Pakistan clean and green.

EMPOWERMENT OF FARMERS THROUGH TRAINING SESSIONS

Agriculture sector in Pakistan provides employment to a major chunk of population and is also critical in ensuring food security for a nation with increasing population. Therefore, Khushhalibank undertakes most of its work in the rural areas providing loans for agriculture and livestock businesses.

KMBL COLLABORATES WITH NAVTTC TO EMPOWER WOMEN

On the occasion of International Women’s Day, Khushhali Microfinance Bank (KMBL) collaborated with National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) to support skilled women. As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives, KMBL is providing startup award to top five position holders graduating from Batch-1 of Fashion Designing & Dress Making course conducted at NAVTTC. In this regard, a ceremony was held at the Corporate Office of Khushhali Microfinance Bank on March 6, 2019. The goal of this initiative is to recognize women who have talent and potential.
