TRAINING FOR NURSERY FARMERS OF PATTOKI

Khushhali Microfinance Bank holds quarterly training for farmers in rural areas for the promotion of agriculture. This training is part of CSR initiatives undertaken by the Bank to promote small farmers. In an agri-based economy like Pakistan, initiatives for the uplift of small farmers can help contribute towards the development of national economy.

KHUSHHALI MICROFINANCE BANK COLLABORATES WITH MINERVA TO EMPOWER FEMALE ENTREPRENEURS

Khushhali Microfinance Bank has joined hands with Minerva’s SheReturns program to organize a social media marketing training workshop for female entrepreneurs on the occasion of Women’s Entrepreneurship Day. This day is celebrated on November 19 every year to alleviate poverty by empowering and supporting women entrepreneurs.

RADIO PROGRAMMES FOR THE EDUCATION OF FARMERS IN RURAL AREAS

Khushhali Microfinance Bank hopes to educate farmers and enable them to get improved returns from their farming activities. In order to expand the scale of this initiative, this quarter KMBL arranged eight radio programmes on Radio Pakistan medium wave channel that has extensive reach in the rural areas of the country. Each programme had a duration of 30 minutes where crop experts from Pakistan Agriculture Research Council talked about Sunflower, Maize, Mung Bean, Mash, Jawar & Bajra, Raya& Sarson, Oats respectively.

PROMOTION OF AGRICULTURE INITIATIVE IN KHAIRPUR

Khushhali Microfinance Bank (KMBL) continuously engages in initiatives for the empowerment and uplift of segments at the grassroot level of the economy. Under the banner of Corporate Social Responsibility, Khushhali Microfinance Bank regularly conducts initiatives for the education and training of population segments that lag behind due to inadequate access to resources. Free of Cost trainings for small farmers are part of one such initiative by the bank. Every quarter, KMBL organizes training on an important crop of the region in rural areas.

TRAINING SESSION FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF AGRICULTURE IN RAHIM YAR KHAN

Khushhali Microfinance Bank held the second farmers training for the year 2018 in Rahimyar Khan. These free of cost farmers training sessions are part of the Corporate Social Responsibility Initiatives of KMBL and are held every quarter in areas where small local farmers have limited access to knowledge and techniques about modern farming methods.

To mark this year’s International Women’s Day, Khushhali Microfinance Bank, arranged a free of cost training event in collaboration with National Agriculture Research Council (NARC) based on the vision to empower women by teaching them skills that can help them become a means to earn for their livelihood and support their male counterparts.
